As the community energy project continues to grow at Weardale Renewables, the organisation is now looking to strengthen the board and volunteer team.
In particular, it is seeking people interested in the following roles:
- Board roles:
- Secretary
- Treasurer / bookkeeping support
- Other governance roles needed to help a community business run smoothly
- Volunteers:
- Assisting with fundraising
- Helping organise and support our local community engagement activities
No prior experience in energy is required – just a willingness to support a local, community‑led organisation working for Weardale’s benefit.
