Luke Allan Holmes, the 23-year-old Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Holdham Group, and former Durham County Councillor and MP Candidate for City of Durham, has announced his engagement to his partner of eight years, Georgia.
Luke is the son of Allan Richard Holmes, of Wolsingham in Weardale, one of the well-known Weardale triplets.
He founded and now leads Holdham Group, the growing business behind Bishop Trains, Excursions By Rail, Holdham Events and Holdham Rail.
Announcing the engagement, Luke said:
“After eight wonderful years together, I could not be happier to announce that Georgia and I are engaged.
“Georgia has been by my side since long before Holdham became the business it is today. She has shared every mad idea, every challenge and every enormous milestone with me – and her love, support and belief in me have meant more than I could ever put into words.
“She is my best friend, the person I want beside me through everything, and I feel incredibly lucky that we are now beginning this next chapter together. There is nobody else with whom I could imagine building my life.”
