Volunteer appeal

Volunteer appeal
THE North East Theatre Organ Association, based in Howden-le-Wear is very proud of its history of
active volunteers, especially after being honoured with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in
2016.
As we start into a new season of monthly concerts featuring the Mighty Wurlitzer we are keen to
swell our ranks of volunteers to keep organ and building in top condition.  If you would like to get
involved helping with the running of concerts, maintenance of the Wurlitzer and building,
administration or anywhere you think you could help please do get in touch, it’s a great way to keep
active and even learn new skills!
In particular, we are looking for Ticket Sales Officer and also a Sales Officer to sell merchandise at
concerts.
2:30pm Sunday March 16th starts the season off with another very popular and talented
organist Christian Cartwright at the console, playing a very wide selection of music new and old.
Based in the New Victoria Centre, Howden-le-Wear the North East Theatre Association has the only
Wurlitzer pipe organ in the North East of England and is one of the finest examples in Europe.
