St. John’s Chapel W.I. meeting, 26 February 2025

St. John’s Chapel W.I. meeting, 26 February 2025 at 7pm

A short meeting was held followed by a Domino Drive.
There were 11 members who had brought enough sets of domino’s to ensure the domino drive could take
place, along with a small wrapped gift as prizes. There was a unanimous agreement that no one knew
what a domino drive was and so the rules were made up as they went along. Kay was elected as referee
and did a sterling job of keeping everyone in check and announcing that the overall winner was Ruth
Fletcher! Ruth then chose a prize from the selection and a secret ballot was held for the remaining prizes
to the rest of the members.
Hair, teeth and broken nails were swept up prior to moving tables together for a de-brief and a well
needed cup of tea with biscuits. The ladies declined a photo opportunity.
Our 2025 programme was agreed and we hope to welcome any new members wishing to join us. You are
more than welcome to attend any meeting free of charge to ‘try us out’, just pop along to Barrington Hall
St. John’s Chapel every last Wednesday in the month at 7pm. The Yearly W.I. membership is £48. Our
next meeting will be Wednesday 26 March 2025.
