LAST weekend, Stanhope Silver Band held a Coffee Morning in St Thomas Church Hall in Stanhope to raise funds.
It was hugely successful, raising the grand total of £1011.53p. A spokeswoman for the Band said, ” We would like to thank everyone who contributed and supported the event, we are very grateful. The money will help towards the upkeep of the band, to maintain its presence in the Dale.
“And, as usual, the Dalefolk gave us their support. Thank you.”
