Work has at last begun to prepare the floor at St Thomas church, Stanhope for laying the flagstones.
The Friends of St Thomas group, which is behind the project, will keep the appeal open till late Spring so this is a chance for your nominee ( which could be yourself ) to become part of Stanhope’s church heritage. Flagstones can be sponsored for £100 each and you will have a designated stone and your name inscribed in the Flagstone Book in the church.
