DCC has asked for the opportunity to respond : find there response below.
Ian Hoult, Durham County Council’s interim head of environment, said: “We share the dismay of local residents if dog dirt has been deliberately rubbed on play equipment at Frosterley Play Park, and really applaud them for their community-minded response. Any report submitted via email will receive an automated reply with our standard response time which is ten days. We do though respond to all cleaning requests as soon as we are able and, in this instance, due to the nature of the report, staff were on site very early on the next working day. We have emptied the bins at the park and our teams will have an increased presence there to deter any anti-social behaviour. Again, we’d like to say thank you to the community for its work and would appeal for any information on what’s happened here to be reported to us.”
Details of how to report anti-social behaviour can be found on our website at https://www.durham.gov.uk/asb
