A COFFEE Morning with stalls, tombola and raffle is to be held to raise funds for a grand Flower Festival to be staged in memory of Norman and Betty Deacon.

The Festival will be held in Tow Law Parish church in September but the Coffee Morning is to be held in The Barn at Blackhall Farm, courtesy of Anita and John Atkinson.

It will take place on Friday, June 19th between 10am and 12 noon. Free entry, everyone welcome.

Norman Deacon was renowned locally and farther afield for his prowess with flower arranging and was behind flower festivals not only in Tow Law but around the region.

Blackhall Farm is located just off the A68 after Harperley roundabout – first turn on the right going south. (DL15 8DN)
