BANKING HUB OFFICIAL OPENING

BANKING HUB OFFICIAL OPENING
THE new Banking Hub in Crook is to be officially opened on March 25th at 11am.
The owners, Ravi and Deleena .have been through a very long process to apply to run the Hub
and worked hard at cleaning and preparing it for us. Ravi owns the Post Offices in Crook and Tow
Law too as well as other businesses around the county and the Banking Hub itself is owned by the
Post Office.
The Hub will be mostly managed by Deleena and Alison, who has worked in the Post Office in Tow
Law for many years and is well-known and respected. The Hub is a much needed facility for the town
and surrounding villages with the imminent closure of the TSB, leaving the town without a High
Street bank.
Weardale does not have a single bank left but this Hub will be easier for Weardalians to access
rather than having to travel even further to Bishop Auckland where Barclays is the only bank that
remains.
The official opening will see a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the opportunity for local people to
meet Riva who has worked so hard to bring this facility into being.
Everyone is welcome to attend with free refreshments on offer for all.
