Alfie’s Dream by local film-maker released tomorrow

AWARD-winning Durham filmmaker Dean Midas, best known for his horror shorts, is embarking on a surprising new direction this spooky season.

Kids film; Alfie’s Dream will be released tomorrow (Friday 3rd October at 6pm) 

Alfie’s Dream is a fun-filled tale about zombies and football and has been made for children and families to enjoy.

It was written by personal trainer, actor, and support artist Gordon Hindson. 

Mr Hindson has worked with stars including Stephen Graham, Pierce Brosnan, and Sheridan Smith.

​Mr Midas said, “After years of creating scares, I wanted to be part of something special that my own family and a younger audience could enjoy,”

​The release of Alfie’s Dream showcases the versatility of director Dean Midas and offers a refreshing new perspective from the County Durham filmmaker.

The film features a fantastic cast of young actors alongside Libby Walker, who recently appeared in Coronation Street and The Dumping Ground, and Michael Wilson-Dukes, who was in Inspector George Gently, Vera, and The Paradise.

Alfie’s Dream will be available to audiences on YouTube via Dean Midas Films from 6pm on Friday 3rd October.
