Fyfe Dangerfield, Nerina Pallot, Martin Taylor MBE and Juan Martín headline an
unforgettable season of live performances.
Following three consecutive sell-out concerts earlier this year by acclaimed artists Sandi
Thom, Elles Bailey and Marshall Gilmour Webbs, The Bowes Museum has unveiled its
exciting Autumn/Winter In Concert programme, bringing an outstanding line-up of
internationally acclaimed artists to one of the North East’s most distinctive live music
venues.
Running from October to December, the popular series transforms the museum’s
atmospheric Jubilee Room into an intimate performance space, offering audiences the
rare opportunity to experience world-class musicians up close in a beautiful heritage
setting.
With demand for the series continuing to grow and every In Concert performance in 2026
selling out to date, concertgoers are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.

Friday 9 October – Fyfe Dangerfield
Brit Award-nominated singer-songwriter Fyfe Dangerfield returns to The Bowes Museum
following a memorable performance in 2025. Best known as the frontman of the Mercury
Music Prize nominated Guillemots, Fyfe will perform an intimate set featuring soulful
vocals, fan favourites and audience requests in an informal evening of music and
storytelling.
Saturday 10 October – St Catherine’s Child
Rising star Ilana Zsigmond, performing as St Catherine’s Child, blends indie, folk and
Americana into a captivating live performance. Inspired by her transatlantic upbringing
and acclaimed debut album This Might Affect You, her poetic songwriting and distinctive
sound have established her as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists.
Saturday 17 October – Martin Taylor MBE
One of the world’s most celebrated jazz guitarists, Martin Taylor MBE brings his Standards
tour to The Bowes Museum. Audiences can expect a masterclass in musicianship as Taylor
reimagines classic jazz favourites, sharing stories from an extraordinary six-decade career
alongside his renowned fingerstyle guitar technique.
Friday 23 October and Saturday 24 October – Juan Martín
Internationally acclaimed flamenco guitarist Juan Martín delivers two breathtaking
shows, blending traditional flamenco with contemporary influences. His passionate
performances promise an unforgettable journey through the rich traditions of Spanish
music.
Sunday 25 October – Juan Martín Masterclass
Aspiring guitarists can enjoy a rare opportunity to learn directly from a flamenco master.
This relaxed, hands-on workshop offers practical insight into Juan Martín’s celebrated
technique and musical style. Participants are encouraged to bring their instruments, while
spectator tickets are also available.
Friday 4 and Saturday 5 December – Nerina Pallot
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Nerina Pallot returns to the museum in December to close
her UK and Ireland Fire Escape Symphonies solo tour. Following four sold-out
performances at The Bowes Museum in 2025 and her recent highly acclaimed 25th
anniversary show at the Royal Albert Hall in June, the Brit and Ivor Novello Award
nominee’s concerts feature beautifully stripped-back arrangements for piano and guitar,
alongside stories and songs from her remarkable 25-year career.

The award-winning Café Bowes will open late on concert evenings, serving meals before
performances, while the museum bar will remain open throughout the show.
