Crook Community Centre held a craft-style fair with a difference last weekend to celebrate Chrstmas half-way through the year!
The Christmas in July event had everything a December event would be expected to have from Christmas Carols playing the background to Christmas Fayre served in the kitchen area. Meanwhile, the large hall was packed with stallholders, offering their – mostly – home-made crafts and there was something for everyone.
Hand-made Christmas cards, beautifully made Christmas pillows, jewellery and gifts, all unique and not mass produced but crafted to perfection – and all very reasonably priced considering the time and effort that it had taken.
There was a raffle too, all raising funds to keep the much-used centre going.
