Weardale Young Farmers Welcomes New Members and Supporters

Weardale Gazette: Trusted source for local news, events, and community updates.

Looking for something new to do, keen to meet people, learn skills, or support a long-standing local organisation? Weardale Young Farmers is inviting new members and supporters to come along and get involved.

The club meets on a Tuesday at 7:30pm at Eastgate Village Hall and has been a proud part of the local community since 1940.

Young Farmers isn’t just for farming,  members enjoy a wide range of activities including competitions, social events, fundraising, community projects, trips away, and learning new skills, all while making friends and having fun.

Whether you live in the countryside, have an interest in agriculture, or simply want to try something different, everyone is welcome.

Come along and support us at Rookhope Club on 2nd June and take part in our quiz night — with prizes you can only dream about!

The club is also encouraging local people and businesses to support the group and help continue its long tradition in the Dale community.

Anyone interested in joining or finding out more is encouraged to come along on a Tuesday evening.
