CHAPEL GIRLS TAKING ON TREK26 FOR ALZHEIMERS SOCIETY

THREE ladies from the upper Dale who all work in the Lakes and Dales Co-op in St John’s Chapel are in serious training to take on a 26-miles trek in aid of the Alzheimers Society.

Sarah Wearmouth from Wearhead along with Cairney Fleming and Willow Marrit from Cowshill make up the team of dedicated colleagues at the store who will take on this gruelling challenge around the Lake District on July 4th this year. Throughout 2025 and 2026, Lakes & Dales Co-op colleagues, members and customers are proudly supporting Alzheimer’s Society. Together, they are helping to ensure that no one faces dementia alone and supporting a future of better brain health for all. And Dalefolk can help by sponsoring them.

Every pound you donate will directly support Alzheimer’s Society’s essential work—providing life-changing support services, funding pioneering research, and standing alongside families affected by dementia. Your generosity truly makes a difference, and we couldn’t do this without you.

Thank you so much for supporting our Trek26 challenge and Alzheimer’s Society. Your donation means the world to us and to everyone affected by dementia. If you can spare a few quid, this is the link to donate.
