Volunteer with Beavers & Cubs on Thursday evenings!
ARE you looking for a fun, rewarding way to give back to your community? Do you enjoy working with children and want to help them grow in confidence, skills, and friendship? If so, we need you!
We’re currently looking for adult volunteers to help lead our Beaver (ages 6–8) and Cub Scout (ages 8–10½) groups on Thursday evenings. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people—while having a lot of fun yourself!
What’s Involved?
Each week, we run a packed programme of exciting activities for our Beavers and Cubs, including:
Outdoor adventures like hiking & camp fires
Creative projects such as crafts, music, and themed challenges
Team-building games and problem-solving activities
Skills for life including basic first aid, cooking, knots, and more!
As an adult volunteers, you’ll help plan and run sessions, guide the children through activities, and be a positive role model. You don’t need any prior experience—just a sense of humour, some energy, and a willingness to get stuck in. Full training and support will be provided*.
