As a gesture of gratitude, we have created the Twinway 35 Advantage Opportunity which celebrates ambition and potential across the North East. We are offering a fully funded place on the Twinway Advantage Programme worth over £3000: a chance to gain a HGV licence, build confidence, and step into a new future.
We are inviting nominations from people ready to take the next step in their professional journey. The Twinway Advantage Programme is a comprehensive pathway designed to prepare drivers for success in the transport industry. It includes:

Judging & Selection Process
To ensure fairness and community focus, an independent judging panel made up of respected industry partners and business leaders will review all nominations. Each nomination will be considered based on:
– Commitment and motivation to progress within the industry
– Personal growth potential and positive attitude
– The impact the opportunity could have on their life and future career
Judges will review either a written summary (up to 500 words) or a short video submission from each nominee, emailed to
Eligibility & Conditions
– Open to residents of the North East UK, aged 18 or over
– Nominees must already hold a full UK car (Category B) licence
– Twinway will cover the cost of the required HGV medical as part of the opportunity
– The opportunity is non-transferable and must be used by the named individual
– All entries must be received between 1 November and 30 November 2025
– The successful nominee will be announced on Monday, 5 January 2026
