Help Us Bring Hyperfast Broadband to Weardale – We Need You!

Help Us Bring Hyperfast Broadband to Weardale – We Need You!
Dear neighbours,
We have a unique opportunity to connect Wearhead, St John’s Chapel, Cowshill,
Lanehead, and the surrounding areas to hyperfast, full-fibre broadband through
B4RN (Broadband for the Rural North Ltd).
But we can’t do it without your help.
B4RN is a Community Benefit Society that reinvests any surplus back into the communities it
serves. It is community-led and offers a resilient, hyperfast service to the most rural
communities. While BT and Openreach may serve some village centres, many of our most
rural homes are still left with either no internet or painfully slow speeds. With your help, we
can change that and bring future-proof connectivity to everyone.
To move forward, we urgently need:
 Local advocates to help spread the word
 Volunteers to assist with admin, wayleaves, resident outreach and more
 Expressions of interest from those who want the service
No experience needed — just your support, enthusiasm, and willingness to get
involved.
Join us for our public meetings.
