A VIBRANT evening of live music and traditional dancing will take place on Saturday 26th April at St
Cuthbert’s Centre, Crook, in support of this summer’s B.O.P Fest 25.
The fundraiser will feature energetic ceilidh dancing led by the DIY Ceilidh Band, with live music
from the Jack Drum Ukulele Ensemble. The event is open to all, whether you’re an experienced
dancer or trying ceilidh for the first time.
Alongside the dancing, attendees can enjoy hot food, including vegetarian and vegan options,
served by The Butchers Tap Crook, and a licensed bar, with all proceeds going directly towards the
festival. There will also be a raffle and auction with a range of fantastic prizes on offer.
Date: Saturday 26th April
Time: Doors open at 6:00 PM | Live music from 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM

returning to Crook from 1st–3rd August 2025. Organised by local young people and hosted at Jack
Drum Arts, Crook, this year’s festival is themed “Thrive Together – A Healthy Planet for a Healthy
You.” The three-day event will feature a diverse lineup of musicians and performers, craft stalls,
workshops, carnival games, and a strong environmental message, all free and accessible – for a
whole weekend of fun, entertainment and excitement1
Tickets for the ceilidh are now on sale and expected to sell quickly. Don’t miss this opportunity to
enjoy a fun night out while supporting local youth and grassroots climate action.
