Machinery Sale at Darlington Mart
DARLINGTON Farmers Auction Mart held their ‘Winter Collective Sale’ of vehicles, implements and
machinery on Saturday 15 th February 2025.
A monumental size of crowd braved the seasonally cold conditions to attend the February
collective sale, numbers of lots (945), buyers (206) and sellers (104) all exceeded the corresponding
sale last year by a significant margin.
Trade proved brisk across all sections, in particular the sellers of livestock requisites would enjoy
a fantastic return. The top priced lot of the day was a tidy 2003 registered Massey Ferguson 4345,
following were two other tractors as an immaculate Zetor Major 80 and a 2008 plate Valtra sold very
well, a 2016 plate Manitou followed closely. Top lot in the top field was a 2023 16ft Ifor Williams
plant trailer whilst the small tool auction peaked at £260 for a Stihl multi tool.
