TCR Hub in Barnard Castle has launched its Winter Appeal, aiming to raise £2,500 over the next five months to help local families and individuals facing hardship across Teesdale.
Since the Covid-19 lockdowns, TCR Hub has continued to support the community through its Teesdale Care Packages, with dedicated volunteers currently delivering food and essential supplies to more than 35 households every week, supporting over 70 local people.
As the colder months bring increased financial pressures, the charity is encouraging local people to become Community Champions by donating just £10 a month, helping to ensure that no one in our community has to choose between heating their home and putting food on the table. Every penny raised will stay in Teesdale, directly supporting those who need it most. TCR Hub is calling on the community to get behind the appeal, whether through donations or simply spreading the word.
