The Local Networks are building on the work of the Area Action Partnerships (AAPs) that you may have previously had some contact with.
These drop-in events are being held to provide an opportunity for residents, partners, councillors and community group representatives to:
· Meet their Local Network team
· Learn more about the Local Network approach
· Ask questions and see how they can get involved
· Understand how the Local Network team can support community-led activity
· Find out about current / future funding opportunities through the Local Network
Each of the 12 events will be held in different locations to provide a good geographic coverage across the county, and as these events are being delivered on a drop-in basis, there is no need for those wishing to attend to pre-book.
Here are your Crook, Weardale and Willington event details at a glance:
- Format: Informal, information drop-in event.
- Who should attend: Residents, County Councillors, parish/town councillors, partners, and community representatives.
- Date/time & venue: Crook Civic Centre, Tuesday 2 June, 9.30am to 2pm and 4pm to 6pm.
We are encouraging everyone to come along to see us so it would be great if you could spare some time in your diary that day to drop in for a chat. Your attendance would be very welcome and greatly appreciated by the team.
We look forward to seeing you but if you have any questions or would like further information about the event, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
