Weardale Pool League – End Of 2025 League Update
The Weardale Pool League is shaping up for an exciting start to 2026 as the top teams continue to battle it out at the summit.
Wolsingham Black Lion and Stanhope Grey Bull (A) currently sit joint top on 45 points, both with 6 wins from 8 matches, setting up a tense race for the title. Close behind are Stanhope Club, who have an impressive record of 6 wins from 7, leaving them well placed to challenge with games still in hand.
Mid-table sees Frosterley Inn holding fourth spot on 33 points, followed by Stanhope Grey Bull (B) on 31. At the lower end of the table, St Johns Chapel Blue Bell and Stanhope Pack Horse will be looking to finish the season strongly and pick up valuable points.
🌟 Player of the Year Race
The Player of the Year standings are equally competitive. Adam Robinson (Stanhope Club) leads the way with a perfect 7 wins from 7, while a cluster of players sit just behind on 6 wins, including Neil Coates, Adam Fletcher, Jack Tinkler, Doug Mill, and Chris Woodruff. With plenty matches remaining, this race is far from settled.

The Team Knockout Semi-Finals promise plenty of drama and will be played over two legs (home and away) on 14th & 21st January 2026:
