Stanhope Pack Horse V St Johns Chapel Blue Bell
Stanhope Pack Horse started strongly, with early wins from Dan Wright, Louise Fletcher, and Ian Peart to establish a 3–0 lead.
The visitors hit back through Terry Wood and Damien Tomlinson, narrowing the deficit before Ian Dowson restored a two-point cushion for the hosts after the singles.
However, St Johns Chapel Blue Bell staged a brilliant comeback in the doubles, winning all three matches to snatch a narrow 5–4 victory.
Wolsingham Black Lion V Stanhope Grey Bull (B)
Jake Crawford opened the scoring for Stanhope Grey Bull (B), but Wolsingham Black Lion quickly responded with singles wins from Jonathan Elliott and Doug Mill.
A point from Richard James levelled the match for the visitors, before Adam Fletcher and James Everitt restored control for the home side, who led 4–2 after the singles.
The Black Lion then sealed victory by taking the first two doubles games, before Grey Bull (B) claimed the last doubles match for a consolation point.
Final score: 6–3 to Wolsingham Black Lion.
Stanhope Club V Frosterley Inn
Gary Stubbs put Stanhope Club ahead, but the Coates family turned things around for Frosterley Inn, with dad Neil, and sons Ethan, and Finley Coates all winning to give the visitors a 3–1 lead.
Stanhope Club hit back through Adam Robinson and Adam Dobson to level the score at 3–3 after the singles.
The hosts then dominated the doubles, winning all three matches to complete a 6–3 victory.
