Stanhope Grey Bull (A) vs Stanhope Pack Horse

Stanhope Grey Bull (A) made a strong start, with John Anderson taking the opening frame. Ben Forster extended the lead to 2–0, and David Craggs quickly followed to put the home side 3–0 ahead.

Ian Dowson got Stanhope Pack Horse on the board, reducing the deficit, before Louise Fletcher added another to bring the visitors within one frame. Chris Woodruff secured the final singles game for Grey Bull, leaving them needing just one doubles frame for victory.

The visitors struck first in the doubles, but Grey Bull responded immediately to seal the match. Although Pack Horse claimed the final doubles frame, it was Stanhope Grey Bull (A) who edged a tight contest 5–4.

St Johns Chapel Blue Bell vs Stanhope Club

Stanhope Club faced a tough trip to St Johns Chapel Blue Bell, where the home side came out firing. Colin Hodgson opened the scoring, followed by wins from Simon Aldred, Simon Jones, and Terry Wood to establish a commanding 4–0 lead.

Adam Dobson managed to get Stanhope Club on the scoresheet, but Derek Iddon took the final singles frame to secure victory for the home side with games still to spare.

Blue Bell continued their strong form in the doubles, winning two out of three to complete an emphatic 7–2 win.

Frosterley Inn vs Wolsingham Black Lion

Frosterley Inn and Wolsingham Black Lion played out a closely fought encounter. Neil Coates gave the home side the early advantage, but Adam Martin quickly levelled for the visitors.

Derek Dent restored Frosterleys lead, only for James Everitt to equalise once again. Finlay Coates edged the home side back in front before Jonathan Elliot made it 3–3 heading into the doubles.

Wolsingham Black Lion held their nerve in the closing stages, taking the first two doubles frames to secure victory. Frosterley Inn claimed the final frame, but the visitors ran out narrow 5–4 winners.
