Police Band to appear in Bishop Auckland

Lovers of brass bands are in for a treat when Durham Police Brass Band perform a concert of popular tunes for all the family to enjoy on Friday, 14th August at 7.30pm at St. Mary’s Church on Woodhouse Lane, Bishop Auckland.

Refreshments will be available and all monies raised will go towards providing end of life care in the local area provided by Marie Curie’s dedicated nurses.

Tickets £7.50/£1 for children

This concert is one of a variety of events organised by the  Bishop Auckland Fundraising Group of Marie Curie since its inception in December 2013. 

To date the group have raised over £200,000 due to the generosity of the people of South West Durham.

The group meets at St. Mary’s Church at 1.30 pm on the second Tuesday of the month and new members are most welcome.
