FUSION ART GROUP OPEN DAY IN WOLSINGHAM
THE celebrated Fusion Art group, which was based in St Thomas Church Hall, Stanhope, for many
years and has now moved to the St Anne’s Centre, Wolsingham, will hold an open day there on
September 8 th .
Dave Gibbins, one of the founding members of the group, said, “This event will be an open
session to attract people who would like to paint, but are perhaps afraid to try.
“I hear so many people say ‘they can’t’’ but the truth is that anyone can paint. In this half day
session, we’ll be putting on a workshop where people will be creating paintings. I would urge
everyone to come along and simply try – they may be pleasantly surprised.”
The event will be held between 12 noon and 3pm and everyone is welcome.
The Fusion Art Group meet on Mondays in the St Anne’s Centre but at the moment, is in
recess, beginning again on September 1 st .
