Following a record breaking 2025, one of the North East’s favourite festive experiences is set to return bigger, better and brighter this Christmas, with early bird tickets for AGLOW now on sale.
The Auckland Project has announced that its much-loved illuminated trail will return to Auckland Palace from Friday 20 November to 3 January (excluding Christmas Day and New Year’s Day), promising exciting new additions alongside the spectacular light installations that have made it a festive tradition for thousands of families.
Visitors can save 15% by booking early, with a limited number of discounted tickets available until 31 July. Early bird prices start from £14.03 for children and £19.98 for adults, with family tickets available from £61.63
Now in its third year, this year’s event will also introduce a new Flexi Ticket option, allowing visitors to change their booked date or time once if plans change, offering families added flexibility during the busy festive period.
Running every 15 minutes from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, AGLOW will once again transform the historic grounds of Auckland Palace into a magical winter wonderland, with organisers promising an even bigger and more immersive experience. Further details of this year’s new attractions will be announced in the coming months.
Arabella Lawler, Visitor Development Coordinator at The Auckland Project, said: “AGLOW has become a much-loved festive tradition for families across the North East, and we’re thrilled to be bringing it back this Christmas.
“We’re working on some exciting new additions that will make this year’s trail our biggest and brightest yet. We can’t wait to reveal more, but with discounted early bird tickets available for a limited time, now is the perfect opportunity for families to plan their festive visit.”
Standard ticket prices will apply from 1 August. Terms and conditions can be found on the AGLOW website.
