For Your Prayers
We keep in ourprayers all in our community who are in any kind of need. Our prayers are asked particularly for Kathleen Kirby.
We think of all those affected by heat, drought and wildfires as our climate continues to change, and ask for God’s help to address the causes.
Cowshill Garden Party
The annual Garden Party will take place on Saturday 1st August 12.30-4pm in St Thomas’ Church and the Village Hall, Cowshill.
There will be craft stalls, books, a cake stall, refreshments, a tombola and a raffle.
A poster is attached – please print off and display if you are able.
Church in the Wild
Church in the Wild will take place on Saturday 1st August at 12.30pm-1.30pm. Please contact Graeme in advance for details of location. You can watch a short video about how it works on the Benefice Websitehere
Churchyard Gardening at St John’s
The Wearhead Horticultural Club has been very kind in lending both expertise and muscle to tidy up the churchyard at St John’s Chapel. They have another working party planned for the morning of 1st August 10am-12 noon. I’m sure they would welcome anyone who would like to join in, or perhaps just be a friendly face!
