
ANITA Atkinson will be opening her Royal Museum for the first time in two years to help raise funds to save Hamsterley Methodist Chapel.
For one afternoon only, visitors can buy tickets for the event, which will be held on May 17th between 3 and 5pm. There will be a right Royal and traditional afternoon tea along with a talk on the history of the Monarchy.
Visitors will be seated among Anita’s world record breaking collection of Royal memorabilia. She owns 16,000 different items from the 1600s to the present day and has studied the history of Monarchies around the world for almost 50 years.
Anita, who was Baptised a Methodist, said, “I really don’t like seeing chapels and churches close down. I am a Christian and proud of it and I want to help all I can in the battle to save this chapel in Hamsterley.”
