The Weardale Ski Club Ltd
ANOTHER good but short day today. As predicted there was a good snowfall overnight which made for some lovely skiing early in the day but as the temperatures rose, the snow turned wetter and by midday the slopes were quite slushy and heavy, so we closed early.
25 members attended today including Matt from London and his friend Duncan from Dunbar who enjoyed the 2 hours of skiing they got (despite advice from me not to bother attending!).
The road was challenging today, more so leaving than arriving. Sadly we will have to wait until the next cold spell to open again
