Just like the rest of us in the Wolsingham Parish – and beyond – Weardale Wilf is preparing for Wolsingham Show this coming weekend.
He has prepared a fleece to exhibit and will be enjoying a pint in the beer tent, enjoying everything England’s oldest show has to offer. And, of course, the fair in the market place with his favourite ride – the Dodgems – where he pits himself against his mates. Courtesy of the Showfolk who work very hard to set it up, this tradition is eagerly awaited.
Don’t forget Wolsingham Show this Saturday and Sunday with something for every taste ….gates open early!
